  • What do I do?

    • Once you’re hired, use the task list to keep track of your progress. Start with booking a viewing appointment and finish by sending all recorded data to your Explorer. Your main job is to record housing pictures/videos and send them to your Explorer. Watch your introductory video here to learn more.
  • How do I know where to go?

    • When you’re matched with an Explorer, the requested address will be displayed before you accept the job opportunity. You can aways reconfirm with your Explorer via chat!
  • What do I do when I enter?

    • Be sure to mention where you are so that your Explorer knows you’re at the right location (ex: We’re at 232 ABC lane, apartment 101 a 2bed 2 bath). From there, follow the steps located in your task list.
  • How long should I record for?

    • You have the ability to take as many videos and images you need to create the perfect virtual relocation experience for your Explorer. However, each video has a 3 minute recording limit. Videos that last longer than 3 minutes may not download to the data library correctly. Therefore, please ensure each video you take does not exceed 3 mins. The total number of videos and images you can take for your Explorer remain unlimited.
  • What equipment do I need?

    • Just a steady hand and your best cell phone with our app downloaded!
  • Why am I not getting hired?

    • You will only start getting job opportunities once your profile is complete. Be sure to upload a profile picture and an image of your ID (Drivers license, passport or university ID).
  • What does ‘Record neighborhood’ mean?

    • The street on which the housing establishment is located should also be recorded. A quick video scan and verbal review of the street/neighborhood helps with understanding the environment.
  • Who is an Explorer?

    • An Explorer is an individual looking to move into a new home. A Recorder (you) is an individual recording homes to send to the Explorer.
  • Do I answer questions about school/colleges if I’m hired as a student?

    • Absolutely! The more personal and helpful you are as a Recorder, the greater your chances are of getting a tip. Help you help yourself!
  • Can I accept more than one job at a time?

    • Yes! Accept as many jobs as you can keep up with!
  • How does the commute radius work?

    • Select your commute preference from your desired location and we’ll do our best to ensure you only get jobs within your vicinity. However, the wider your range, the more job opportunities for you.
  • If I get hired for a certain language, what does that mean?

    • Every job has English as it’s conversational default language. This means that you’ll communicate in English. If you’re hired for a job with a language request, feel free to communicate in that requested language!
  • How & when do I get paid?

    • You get to earn $30 per job that typically takes 20-40 mins to complete. Once the job has been mutually ended by both parties, payment will be disbursed in the next payment cycle - typically every 2 weeks.
  • How do I record?

    • Hold your phone at eye level and use a steady hand. Walk slowly and capture the environment as best as you can. Either speak during your recording or create a final voice recording of your opinions.
  • Why do I have to record my opinions?

    • What if you were looking to move to a home you had no idea about? What type of information would you want to know? Help your Explorer get a more personal understanding of their future home by relaying your insights! (Did you like it? How did you feel being there? Would you live there?)
  • How long does a job last?

    • You have up to 5 days to complete a single job. The more efficient you are, the more jobs you can take on and the more cash you can earn.
  • Is it really as simple as recording homes?

    • Yes!
  • What if I can’t get in touch with the housing representative?

    • Though this rarely happens, shoot us a message through your ‘Help’ tab explaining the problem and we’ll help sort it out!
